Removing veteran members from the clan

We are currently in the process of rebuilding our clan.

We do a clan promotion every week.  We remove recently recruited members who are not participating to make room new players.

If a long time clan member is not actively participating in our clan for a while the first step is to start to worry about them and wonder what we can do to help.

If there is some reason for the lack of participation it will always be excused if the member is participating in clan chat and asks for help or even a break.  In the history of our clan no player has ever abused this policy.

Unfortunately, when members go inactive they often never check into clan chat or let us know what is wrong, and eventually this ends up with the clan member getting removed.

This breaks our hearts.

So if something comes up in your life for a while please talk to us.  We all have things that come up in our lives from time to time.  Let us know what is wrong in clan chat.

We are rebuilding our clan so there are new rules for new members, but these rules do not apply retroactively to our old time members.

We don't delete actively participating players  because they are not high ranking enough as long as they are trying their best.  In this clan you can't get removed for not being high enough level, but only for lack of participation.

This has been our policy since the beginning of this clan.

We remove veteran clan members on a case by case basis.  There is not a hard and fast rule.

One thing we consider is how many clan experience points a veteran member has contributed.  The more points a veteran member has contributed the more slack they eserve.

Another reason for overlooking the other shortcomings of a veteran  member is if they preform well in Clan vs. Clan activities.

In the whole history of our clan I have only removed one player for being abusive to other members.  Hopefully it will not happen again for a long time.  Please remember to always be respectful in clan chat, give positive incouragement, and politely answer player questions.
